Vail-Summit Orthopaedic Foundation is dedicated primarily to the study, development and presentation of outcomes-based research. VSOF promotes medical research through outcomes-based clinical research and by supporting basic science orthopaedic and sports medicine research. Our findings are published and presented regionally, nationally and internationally to share information imperative in determining best outcomes for orthopaedic patients.
VSOF provides medical education by hosting orthopaedic lectures, labs, and training programs for student interns, medical students, athletic trainers, physical therapists, residents, fellows and practicing physicians.
Our community outreach efforts in Eagle and Summit Counties (Colorado) administer sports medicine and athletic training programs for students and residents, as well as preventative and therapeutic programs for county athletes.
